Images of the Antarctic which inspired Happy Feet
"Recently Mullumbimby resident Howard Whelan of Whelan Produtions staged an exhibition of his photographs of Antarctica, called 'Endangered Ice', at Retrospect Galleries (www.retrospectgalleries.com/) in Byron Bay.
More than 40 of Howard's photos, representing some of his best Antarctic work over 12 years, were printed on canvas and on special museum-quality photographic paper.
His images were used as the basis for the computer animation of the block-buster movie Happy Feet."
