This is a story of duty and purpose, of two goannas who had to keep the spirit place safe. They had to care for the plants that grew there. They had to keep the pathways clean and clear for those who might pass. And they had to know the stories of the land in case any passer-by had need of their knowledge. The goannas look in different directions, they have different skills, they complement and complete each other.
