Emu Eggs

This screen print is an emu taking care of the eggs. This print honours all our good men. The male emu incubates the eggs of his many wives and also raises the chicks himself. It is dedicated to Uncle Lenny Barret who told many great emu stories and knew how to trick a pesty emu. Put your hand high above you head, keep your palm flat, it looks like a head, and now the emu thinks you are taller than him, he won’t bother you.
