Frangipanis, originally from Mexico and Central America, are naturalized in Asia, it's known as the Tree of Life, India, it is known as the temple tree, and especially Hawaii, they're used in leis to show welcome, farewell, friendship and love. Frangipanis are most fragrant at night, to lure moths to pollinate them.
