Mushrooms

This image was inspired by one of the women in our art and story telling group talking about reclaiming and renewing culture, and about the things that have been forgotten. This image is a reclaiming of the small things, and from small beginnings big changes can have their birth. Fungi are like of icebergs, there can be masses of filaments hidden under the ground. So the mushroom print symbolises the unseen, perhaps the forgotten, but still present and vital.
