As the sun greets a new day the sky illuminates in a morning glow, waves splash against the coasal rocks and pelicans await a morning meal from nearby rock fishermen. I had spent the morning photographing a nearby beach pool at twihlight when I decided to walk out to the headland to plan some future photographs. As I arrived the sun started to show it's first rays and the brooding clouds began to come to life. I rushed to set up and shot one frame before the sun moved behind a cloud. To me this shot sums up the Australian way of life, our coastal lifestyle and the wonderful enviroment in which we live. The colours and textures are a creation of nature and have been captured without the use of coloured filters or digital manipulation.
