Pandanus Skies

A hot summer sun is caught exactly behind a reaching-out pandanus branch. The sky is a brilliant blue, perfectly clear not a wisp of cloud. Pandanus have prop roots that grow from the stem to anchor the tree firmly in the sand dunes.
