3min @ f32. I visited this location a few times over a two week period with the intention of capturing a horizontal shot of a nearby rocky outcrop. This particular evening I set up as usual waiting for the light to agree but once again It was looking grim. As I started to lose hope the clouds behind me began to glow with a beautiful yet subtle light show, casting a pink hue over the rocks. In a frantic rush I quickly repositioned the camera. I shot off two frames and watched as day gave way to night. I still remeber the calm, peaceful atmosphere of this area and feel that this mood is reflected in this shot. The colours and textures are a creation of nature and have been captured without the use of coloured filters or digital manipulation.
