This image was inspired by one of the women in our art and story telling group talking about reclaiming and renewing culture, as so much has been taken and about the things that have been forgotten. This image is a reclaiming of the small things from which big can things grow. The mycelium of fungi are like the underwater self of icebergs, there can be a mass of filaments under the ground. So the mushroom print symbolises the unseen, perhaps the forgotten, but still present and vital.
