David Young Bio
David Young was formally trained in London and has 20 years experience as a professional advertising / editorial photographer . He lived and worked in Sydney, Australia for ten years before moving to Byron Bay in 1991, from where he now works. He photographs almost any subject matter but excels in interiors , resorts, food, product and stock photography.
David shoots regularly for many of the national lifestyle magazines which include: House and Garden, Country Style, Marie Claire, Gourmet Traveler, Home Beautiful, Interiors, Belle, Australian Table, Better Homes and Gardens, Womens Weekly, Womans Day, Vogue, She, HQ and the Sydney Morning Herald .
Book publishers David has worked for include, Harper Collins, Allen & Unwin, Murdoch Books, Fairfax, ACP, Weldons, Mead and Becket and Byron Bay Publishing.
Other clients have included CSR, Avon, Colgate Palmolive, Johnson and Johnson, Gazebo Hotels, Olympus Cameras, Blackmores, Boral, Dept. of Consumer Affairs, Dept. of Agriculture and Fisheries, The Meat Board and many of the best advertising agencies and architectural firms in Australia.
