Frank Petsch has gained a widespread reputation for his fashion, beauty and advertising photography. His work has appeared in national and international magazines such as Vogue, Cleo, country style, who, etc.
These publications and various catalogues are an eloquent testimony to his success.
Frank was born on the 4th of april 1964,in Hamburg, Germany.
Frank started his work as an assistant in a still-life studio, this followed with a one year course at the “Hamburger Fotografie School”
After finishing school he started a 3 year apprenticeship as a photographer and graduated in front of the Photographers- Guild - Hamburg. During his year as a student Frank took on quite a few commissions including two fashion catalogues with a friend.
Following this were several more years as an assistant in fashion photography where he travelled the world.
In 1992 he settled in Australia and soon opened a professional studio in Byron Bay and later purchased and operated a professional lab for slide film processing.
In 1995 Frank became a member of the A.I.P.P. and A.C.M.P.

In 2002 Frank published his first book “byron bay beauty”.
Since then his “people photography” work is more in the field of photo – stock - libraries.
Today Franks career is strong. His repeat clients trust him implicitly to coordinate their entire shoots.
