I have been painting for well over 25 years, my other interests are Aboriginal dancing and singing.
I have relatives from Cabbage Tree Island (NSW) to Coen (FNQ). My father is from Fingal Heads, Saltwater Bungjalung Country, and my mother is from Palmer River Freshwater which is Gugu-Yalanji Country (FNQ).
My mother's people taught me how to paint and hunt, while my father's peopl taught me Aboriginal dancing and singing.
My art style is influenced from both my mother's and father's people, country, beleifs and my own life experiences.
My art and dance teachers have passed on now, but I like to think that I look at life and art through their ancient eyes.
