We prefer that you let us size all your images in photoshop with the latest interpelation software as part of the $15 processing fee. We wont stretch the image in photoshop if it does not fit proportionately into your requested measurements as it may reduce the appearance of the finished peice. Instead we can crop the selected image to better suit your dimensions or print the image at the nearest possible size if you dont want to lose any of the image.
When the canvas is stretched you will lose the edge of your image as it is wrapped around the frame. This means that you should not crop your image to the exact frame you wish to see on the face of your mounted peice. For small images 20x30 or 25x25 include an extra 3cm width and length of the image that can be wrapped around the frame that will be viewed on the side of the peice. For medium canvases under 50x50 or 60x40 you will need 4.5cm extra width and length and for larger canvas prints 7.5cm width and length. We also offer additional services such as cloning the edges for wrap so you wont lose any of the images. Just enquire with us and we can recommend the best way in which your images should be displayed.
We prefer if you do not send us your original image unless it is a photograpg or slide that needs to be scanned. Please make copies of digital files before sending them to avoid the unlikely event of us aciddentily losing your originals. If you give us the original photograph or scan then you can collect them or we can arrange for postage or if possibel send them to you with your order.

Ideally the bigger the better, your print will be better quality and clarity the higher the resolution. However we have fantastic interpelation software that can upsize your image from as little as one megabite.
If you are having a professional photographer shoot your work, be sure to get high resolution digital files on a CD or DVD.
Instruct your photographer to take extra care ensuring the piece is evenly lit.
If you work in oils, acrylics, or any other highly reflective medium, your photographer will need to polarize both the light source and lens.
Digital image resolution is the size of your image, measured in pixels ("picture elements"). A high-resolution image (such as 1600 x 1200 pixels) will result in a better printed photo than a low resolution image (such as 320 x 240 pixels), all other things being equal. If the resolution is too low for the size of the print chosen, the photograph will look fuzzy and indistinct. We recommend that you always use the high resolution setting on your camera to ensure the best prints.
