Exhibition
Susan Gourley was born and grew up in the small Victorian coastal fishing town of Port Fairy, renowned for its historic buildings, beautiful beaches and migrating mutton birds. Now living on the Far North Coast of NSW that she has called home for the past twenty years.
This body of work titled 'Ella's Flock' is dedicated to Ella. A young girl who was convinced that she couldn't draw. Yet, when she showed me what she had created, I was instantly astounded and inspired by what I saw - a beautiful image full of the naivety, colour and spontaneity that only the innocence of childhood can express.
