A surfer sees the ocean differently, they can't help but place themselves out amongst the conditions, visualising the experience that awaits; exhilarating, frightening, calming, or potentially disappointing. I love capturing what I see when I look at the ocean, with special attention placed on the surface quality of the water, the constantly shifting light and the theatre of the majestic locations surfing often exposes me to.
